This set of headers is precision-engineered and leak-tested to get maximum performance and fuel economy from your engine. They're made from .049 in. cold roll, flash-controlled tubing, and feature mandrel-formed collector. All ports are precisely fitted and finished with durable, leak-proof, O-ringed port seals. In addition, they come with all mounting hardware, including bolts, nuts, and premium gaskets.
Required parts or modifications:
- Must modify the stock exhaust to retain the catalytic converters.
- Installation requires A/C mounting bracket ASR9513 for 1979 and later vehicles equipped with the short A/C compressor use the OEM bracket.
- Crossover pipe modifications are necessary.
Specifications:
- Primary tube diameter: 1 5/8 in.
- Collector diameter: 2 1/2 in.
- Will not fit 1967-69 Camaro with A/C
- Will fit OEM Chevy aluminum angle plug heads
- Will not work on vehicles equipped with standard transmissions
- Will fit Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac G-body cars with 283-400 small block Chevrolet engines only
