What the hell happened?
It seems to me that in true democracy all the people get to vote on weather a bill becomes a law. In the past this was impossible because everybody would spend all of their time doing nothing but voting on new laws. That is why we have elected officials, to draft bills and write laws. However, it also seems to me that now with todays Internet, a government voting site could be created, and all the people in America could vote on most, if not all, of the new bills that are being written into law. The politions could sill stay in Washington to draft up these new bills, but essentially America would vote to turn these bills into laws. In turn, we would be able to reject bills that contained wasteful spending or "Pork".
Do me favor and pass this email on to everyone you know. I would like to get everyones input, pros and cons. I think if we can get enough support from the American public, we can force our government to give us the right to vote on every bill that is to become a law, and we can eliminate wasteful spending and corruption in our government.
I am going to dedicate a page on our website to all of the replys that I get to this email so everyone can see each others input and respond to each other. So send any replys or ideas to FightForDemocracy@comcast.net , and then forward this email to everyone you know. As soon as emails come in I will have a page on our website titled "Fight For Democracy" with all of the ideas, pros and cons, posted for everyone to see, and respond to.
Thank you for your time!
