The HURRICANE HPR (High Performance Racing) manifold is the best performing manifold of this type that you can buy, regardless of cost. Yet the HURRICANE manifold is one of the least expensive manifolds of this type on the market.

The Hurricane Manifold is a single plane 360� design that provides optimum power in the mid- to upper rpm ranges. Use with any standard square bore performance carb.
Features include nitrous bosses, dual distributor holddowns, four corner water ports, and more. Kit also includes special water flow divider which can be substituted for a thermostat for racing use.
The Hurricane ports are very specifically positioned to provide an optimum starting point for custom porting. The ports are slightly smaller than Fel-Pro's #1 205 gasket.
Ideal manifold for drag racing or short track use. Use a 1" (short track) or 2" (drag race) carb spacer for optimum results. While this manifold is designed to be port matched for racing, if it is used in a non-racing application no port matching is required. Manifold provides all standard bosses and tapped holes for street accessories. Fits standard port location 23� heads including cast iron Bowtie, Dart Iron Eagle, World, plus most aluminum aftermarket 23� heads.

We recently conducted very extensive dyno tests between our 52031 Hurricane manifold for SB Chevy and five other
well-known and respected similar manifolds. All manifolds were tested out of the box with no changes. Three separate
pulls were made on each of the six manifolds between 4,000 and 7,000 rpm. The three runs were averaged.
The Hurricane manifold finished either #1 or #2 in every category. The Hurricane was #1
in the four most important categories: torque, H.P., lowest amount of fuel used and H.P. per dollar. Not
too bad for the new kids on the block.
